Dundas Remembrance Day Parade and Service - Monday, 11th November, 2024

A good turnout of Branch 36 members took part in the Colour Party and the Branch 36 Legion marching unit.  The parade consisted of the Dundas Pipe Band, the Dundas Legion Branch 36 Colour Party, the Hamilton Air Force Association unit (celebrating its 100th birthday this year), the Dundas Legion Branch 36 unit, Canadian Army unit followed by units from the local Sea, Army and Air Cadet Corps.

After laying of wreaths was completed the parade marched up King Street and Dundas Legion Branch 36 member Stan Hicks took the salute from the parade march past.

The parade continued on to the Dundas Legion Branch 36 where it was dismissed.  Everyone then went into the Branch where refreshments and sandwiches were waiting.

A ceremony took place in the Banquet Hall where local Sea, Army and Air Cadet units were presented with cheques by the Dundas Poppy Fund Chair Jim Byron.
