Colour Party Event

On Saturday, 5th May, 2018 at Tim Horton field in Hamilton a football game was played between the Steel City Patriots with the Northern Football Conference ALL-STARS who played against the Capital University Crusaders (NCAA div.iii).
                           

This was the first time an American university football team came to Canada and played at Tim Horton's field.


At the Opening Ceremonies Brooke Colley sang the American and Canadian National Anthems.  The Branch 36 Colour Party attended and presented the colours on the field.


The Branch 36 Colour Party consisted of the folllowing: 

Greg Sherring (Colour Party Commander), Jim Byron (Sgt. at Arms), Jan Whiting, Chris Slote, and Joe Sherring. 


They were accompanied by members of the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps 'Dundas': 

Lt.(N) Melissa King (Commanding Officer), PO2 Daniel Neiterman, PO2 Johnathan Gershkovich, MS Eathan Guffroy and AS Benjamin Neiterman.
