ZONE B6 MEETING MINUTES
A Zone Meeting was held on Monday, November 24, 2014.
Opening Ceremonies were conducted by Branch 622 President Joyce Brown.
The Meeting opened at 7:30 p.m.
The Roll was called. All Branches were represented.
A motion to deviate from the Agenda was passed.

A news release from the HHSF has recognized Branch 36 and Branch 58 for their donations.
The Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation is an excellent place to donate you Poppy money.
The veterans are well served by the various arms of the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation
ZONE COMMANDERS REPORT
Comrade Zone Commander, John Murphy thanked all who conducted the Branch inspections.
He stated that the Poppy Campaign was now complete. Are there any deviations that must be fixed?
Circumstances did contribute to the overwhelming turnout. Hopefully the public will continue to be as supportive of the Poppy Drive in the future.
Comrade John suggested that all the Branches should consider getting together and presenting our Branch cheques to the Juravinski Centre.. This would be good for the Centre but also give us positive publicity.

Comrade Joyce Brown stated that the Early Bird ends November 30 and hopefully each Branch has at least 50% of their renewals.
MAKE SURE YOUR REMITTANCES TO COMMAND ARE TIMELY. MEMBERSHIPS WILL NOT BE RECOGNIZED TILL THE REMITTANCE IS PAID.

SPORTS
Comrade Garry Spears reported that Zone Sports will begin in January with the Snooker tournament.
TRAINING AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Comrade Don Hubbs noted that any Branch who would like a seminar on any relevant subject just has to ask him and he will arrange it.YOUTH EDUCATION
Comrade Jackie Ralston stated that she has picked up the literary submissions from some Branches but others have not brought them. PLEASE GET THEM TO HER IMMEDIATELY AS THEY MUST BE TO DISTRICT SHORTLY.
L.A. REPORT
Comrade Jackie Ralston stated that the official visits to the Branch L.A.’s are still in progress but should be finished by mid December.
BURSARIES
Comrade Jackie Ralston stated the Bursary Committee will meet at the District Meeting in January.
WAYS AND MEANS
Comrade Wilma Becker stated that $96.00 was raised at the October Meeting.
