On Sunday, 5th November, 2023 from 8:30-11:30am, 26 Volunteers took part in the 2023 Fall Work Party to ensure that Branch grounds and interior were cleaned up for the November 11th Remembrance Day Parade and Service.
Members of the Fall Work Party split up into groups and did various tasks in and around the Branch 36 building, including sweeping the parking lot, checking plants around Branch 36, the Branch Clubroom and the Wentworth Room.
After tasks were completed, bacon wrapped tenderloin, pork roast, gravy, scalloped potatoes, stuffing, broccoli, cauliflower, cheese sauce, and cabbage salad were set up inside the Branch by Janice Mancini, President of Branch 36, and everyone ate their fill. Drinks were also supplied from the bar.
The valuable volunteer work done today makes Branch 36 one of the best Legion branches in our area.
