Dundas Legion Branch 36 - Fall Work Party - Sunday, 8th November, 2020

Volunteers came to Branch 36 for the 2020 Fall Work Party.  The weather was brisk, but stayed dry and this helped the volunteers working outside who persevered with their taks, and successfully cleaned up the gardens and parking lot.  The Covid-19 pandemic caused the cancellation of the usual Branch 36 Parade and Service in Dundas on 11th November, but the Branch outside grounds still needed their annual fall cleanup.

A Volunteer group hung new flags on the poles mounted on the front of Branch 36.

Another Volunteer group worked on cleaning up the outside grounds of Branch 36.  As the Branch has been closed most of this year during this Covid-19 pandemic the interior of the Branch was relatively clean as it has not been used very much.

The Memorial crosses for Branch 36 members who have passed away was not set up on the upper dais area as the Branch has been closed due to Covid-19.

After the work was done, everyone enjoyed sandwiches and refreshments organized by Doug Rivers, President Branch 36 and Janice Mancini 1st Vice President Branch 36 along with a choice of drink.

A hearty Thank you is extended to all those volunteers who were members of the 2020 Fall Work Party and to Gord Sharpe, the Branch 36 House and Grounds Chair for his organization of this event. THANK YOU AGAIN TO ALL WHO ATTENDED
