Saturday, 20th March, 2019 - 8th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Valley City Branch 36 Dundas

The Turner Famlly Funeral Home, the Branch 36 Snooker League, the Dundas Mixed Valley Dart League, the Dundas Electric Train club and Peter Whittaker contributed prizes to the Easter Egg Hunt.

Thanks to the hard work setting up and running this event from volunteers Janice Mancini, Aimee Holme, Brian Holme, Doug Rivers and Peter Whittaker.

Due to the wet weather, we held this hunt indoors in the Wentworth room with its new floor.

Lots of children and their parents came and enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt.  We had newborns to 3 years old at 8:30am, followed by 4 to 7 years old at 9:00am, followed by 8 years old and above at 9:30am.  While the hunt was on, There was coffee for parents, and juice and donuts for the children.  At the end of each age group we had prize draws with chocolate and stuffed bunny prizes for the children in the group who came to our 8th Easter Egg Hunt.

There were generous food bank donations and a total of $133 in cash from those who attended the Egg Hunt.  Thank you to everyone involved.
