Saturday, 31st March, 2018 - 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Valley City Branch 36 Dundas

Thanks to Bob Turner for his generous egg donation.  Thanks to the Snooker league, the Dundas Modular Train Club and the York road Tim Horton's for their donations.  Thanks to volunteers Doug and Linda Rivers, and Leanne and Caitlin Robinson for all their help setting up for this event.  Thanks to Paul Penney for cleaning up the horseshoe pits and to Gord Sharpe for hauling the cleanup away.

Lots of children and their parents enjoyed our Easter Egg Hunt.  We had newborns to 3 years old at 8:30am, followed by 4 to 7 years old at 9:00am, followed by 8 years old and above at 9:30am.  While the hunt was on, we had coffee and tea for the parents, and juice and donuts for the children.  At the end of each age group we had prize draws with chocolate and stuffed bunny prizes for the children in the group who came to our 7th Easter Egg Hunt. Generous donations were made to the food bank by those who attended the event.
