Branch 36 Good Neighbor BBQ
and
Dundas Modular Railway Open House

On Wednesday, 1st July, 2015 Branch 36 held its annual Canada Day Good Neighbor BBQ, and the Dundas Modular Railway held an Open House in the Banquet Room.  Chris and Rob Turner arranged the musical entertainment for the event and the Branch was nicely decorated.

A good time was had by all those who attended this great BBQ which had one of its best turnouts in years.  There were coloring contests and face painting for the children and horseshoes for those who wanted to try it out on our horseshoe pitches.  Music was provided by Chris and Rob Turner and then MIke Woods.

All those who volunteered their time must be thanked for to making this such an enjoyable Canada Day birthday party which also included delicious birthday cake for all who attended.

Joe Thorogood did a great job cooking on the BBQ, with the able assistance of Gord Sharpe getting the food out to everyone, while Joy Sharpe looked after the sale of hamburgers and hot dogs.

While the BBQ was being held, the Dundas Modular Railway had an Open House and set up their display in the Banquet Hall and anyone could view this fine display of model railroading and get questions answered by members of the club.
