Branch 36 Good Neighbor BBQ
and
Dundas Modular Railway Open House

On Tuesday, 1st July, 2014 Branch 36 held its annual Canada Day Good Neighbor BBQ, and the Dundas Modular Railway held an Open House in the Banquet Room.

A good time was had by all those who attended a great BBQ that was arranged by  Cheri Harrington, our 3rd Vice President and Ways and Means Chair, who must be thanked and congratulated for organizing this BBQ on short notice.  Her husband Francis and daughter Rachel helped with the selling of  food tickets to those who came and enjoyed their $2 Hamburgers and $1 Hot Dogs. 

All those who helped in running this BBQ should be thanked including John Murphy who worked on the BBQ and Suzie Murphy who did Face painting with the children.  The Entertainment Committee Chris and Rob Turner arranged the musical entertainment for the event and the Branch was nicely decorated with flags and tape in red and white.

While the BBQ was being held, the Dundas Modular Railway had an Open House and set up their display in the Banquet Hall and anyone could view this fine display of model railroading and get questions answered by members of the club.
